Top 3 applications I use every waking hour and why

Aside from the application software that I get paid to use daily (Microsoft Office-everything, Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut, JIRA, and the list goes on) here are the top 3 applications “apps” that I’m using every waking hour (creepy).

Pinterest. Pinning is so much fun. My addiction to this increasingly popular app results in perfectly organized folders of my favorite things. Pwwinning! This app’s toolbar integration and one-click smoothness of logging in with Twitter or Facebook really rocks. It’s one of the few apps that I find a benefit in connecting with Facebook because I want to see neat content curated by my friends and family.

Twitter. Twitter as a utility can never disappear from our reach. Available and used everywhere in the world, Twitter is my go to place for news (Google News who?), research and getting followed by the dirtiest looking women ever (eh hem, see info about Twitter spam here).

Spotify. So pleased with this integrated web, social and desktop app. The music library is actually pretty awesome; I would say I find at least 9 out of 10 songs I search for and I listen to some weird stuff. The sharing functions along with content discovery features are useful and offer that serendipity effect that I love about Pandora One (yes – that’s right go pro with Pandora, it’s the only way). On the topic of actually paying for music, I’m still debating whether to pay for the Spotify Premium Subscription on my mobile devices. However, smart business plan to boot Spotify!
